Partnership Leads to New CNG Station in Georgia

U.S. Gain, a division of U.S. Venture, has completed its fourth of five GAIN Clean Fuel compressed natural gas (CNG) stations it is building in partnership with Core-Mark, one of the largest distributors and marketers of consumer goods in North America.

The fast-fill GAIN Clean Fuel station, located at 2561 Plant Atkinson Rd. in Smyrna, Ga., will be available for use by all CNG fleets and the public.

The three other stations in operation through this partnership are a located in Aurora, Colo.; Sanford, N.C.; and Forest City, Ark. The fifth partnership station is under construction in Tampa, Fla., and slated to be in operation this summer.

Core-Mark's commitment to a CNG program began with an initial conversion of its fleet. Today, the company operates 179 CNG tractors on the road, with more planned in the future.
