Propane Vehicles On Parade

Clean Cities-Atlanta and Virginia Clean Cities have partnered to put a number of propane-powered fleet vehicles into the mix during the Propane Clean Air Rally and Autogas Parade, which is being held this weekend in Atlanta.

These vehicles are a part of the Southeast Propane Autogas Development Program, which is participating in the rally to educate fleets managers, government officials and the public about propane autogas. The event is being hosted by the National Propane Gas Association.

‘Propane autogas is a clean, affordable, American-made fuel that's widely available now,’ says Alleyn Harned, executive director of Virginia Clean Cities. ‘With the program roadshow series, we hope to boost awareness and encourage adoption of autogas among public and private fleet managers across the region.’

Free and open to the public, the rally begins at noon on Saturday, April 14, in Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta.
