The Utilimaster Corp., a subsidiary of Spartan Motors Inc., says it is now offering compressed natural gas (CNG) and propane autogas fuel-system conversions at a new facility in Charlotte, Mich., as well as at fleets' headquarters. The company is specifically targeting conversions of Isuzu vehicles.

"In cases where the Isuzu dealer has existing inventory or their customer desires an on-site conversion, our Utilimaster Field Services organization can perform the modifications at the local Isuzu dealer or at the customer's place of business," says John Forbes, president of Utilimaster.

This new line of business complements the company's core focus, which is manufacturing walk-in vans and commercial truck bodies for the delivery and service marketplace.
