New Mobile App Pinpoints Alternative Fuel Stations

Third Stone Software, a subsidiary of EVCARCO Inc., has developed its EVCA Alternative Fuel Locator (AFL) app and submitted the tool to the Apple App Store.

Third Stone Software says AFL 1.2 will be available for download, free of charge, by the end of this month. Drawing from data made available through the U.S. Department of Energy, the app provides station information for alternative fuels such as compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas, biodiesel, E85, propane autogas and hydrogen.

The company notes that the next version of the AFL app will provide more functionality and trip planning capabilities.
