The American Trucking Associations (ATA) has announced that energy industry icon T. Boone Pickens will be on hand as the keynote speaker during the organization's Natural Gas in Trucking Summit this November.

Pickens is chairman and CEO of BP Capital, as well as the majority shareholder of natural gas fueling infrastructure firm Clean Energy Fuels. His remarks will be made during a session titled "The Transformation of America's Energy Future."

The summit will examine recent fleet experiences; current and future technology from truck and engine manufacturers; vehicle maintenance and repair shop considerations; the status and timeline for expanding natural gas fueling infrastructure; and discussions related to relevant policy.
