Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin has announced the members of the recently conceived Natural Gas Vehicle Task Force, which will examine the potential for converting state's vehicle fleet to natural gas and developing complementary refueling infrastructure.

The first meeting of the task force, which was first announced in June, is happening today at capitol's House Government Organization Committee Room.

"The members' knowledge and skill in producing, transporting and retailing of natural gas will help us to determine whether we can use our state's abundance of natural gas to fuel our state's transportation needs," Tomblin said in a statement.
