BAF Technologies, a company focused on dedicated and bi-fuel compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicle conversions, says it is now offering CNG Ford F-250 and F-350 pickups with underbody tanks - a major development for light-duty natural gas vehicles (NGVs).

"BAF's underbody system leaves the bed of the F-250/350 completely open and available for toolboxes, ladder racks, compressors and service bodies," the company says. "On top of that, the driver has full visibility through the rear window."

The trucks are available in both dedicated CNG and bi-fuel configurations. The dedicated option is available with 17 or 20 gasoline-gallon equivalent (GGE) tanks, and the bi-fuel model features a 10 GGE tank.

BAF Technologies, a subsidiary of Clean Energy Fuels, was Ford's first Qualified Vehicle Modifier for CNG.
