Kwik Trip CNG Network Nearing 30 Locations

0

Convenience store chain Kwik Trip Inc. recently brought online compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling capacity at three of its locations – in Lake Mills and Eau Claire in Wisconsin and in Davenport, Iowa – bringing the company's total footprint to 28 CNG stations. Each facility features equipment from ANGI Energy Systems and Gilbarco dispensers.

Including the sites in Lake Mills and Eau Claire, Kwik Trip now has more than a dozen CNG stations in Wisconsin alone, with another three – in Superior, Fond du Lac and Windsor – set to come online this fall. The company will also debut its seventh facility in Minnesota, in Austin, in the coming months.

Kwik Trip operates 65 Class 8 natural gas vehicles in its distribution fleet, as well as 42 light-duty NGVs elsewhere in its corporate fleet. The company is in the process of shifting its entire Class 8 fleet to CNG.
