New CNG Station Goes Live in Binghamton, N.Y., Area

0

Trillium CNG and Mirabito Energy Products have opened a new compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling station at 90 Barlow Rd. in Kirkwood, N.Y., just outside Binghamton.

The public-access facility currently offers three CNG fueling lanes, and the station design will enable an expansion to five lanes as demand increases. Currently, the heavy-duty natural gas vehicle fleets of Frito Lay and Willow Run Foods represent anchor customers of the new site.

‘We are proud to partner with Mirabito Energy, Willow Run Foods and Frito-Lay, who recognize the importance of making CNG available in the Binghamton area,’ says Mary Boettcher, president of Trillium CNG.

The station operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the company notes.
