EVO Trillium LLC, a joint venture between Trillium CNG and EVO CNG, has opened a new compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling station in Oak Creek, Wis., on South First St.

Sheehy Mail Contractors, which currently operates 10 Freightliner CNG tractors, will be a main fleet customer of the new station. The company plans on adding more heavy-duty NGVs to its fleet with this summer.

‘We have driven 700,000 miles with these trucks in one of the toughest winters on record,’ says John Sheehy, president of Sheehy Mail Contractors. ‘The CNG fleet performed as well as the diesel equipment in these severe conditions. We are looking forward to increasing our CNG fleet this summer and have plans to expand our natural gas fueling needs to Iowa, Illinois and Indiana in the coming months.’

The fast-fill, public-access station – which is open 24/7 – features four CNG dispensers and is designed to accommodate Class 8 trucks.
